keeping your customized toolbox, columns, column headings, page layout,
and more. Thus,
templates retain the formatting ( the "look" of a chart) while charts
preserve schedule details. |

What
is the difference between a Personal Template and a Standard
Template?

They are the same type
of files (templates). The only difference is where they are stored.
Standard Templates come with the software and are located in the
Standard Templates folder. Personal Templates are saved in your My
Documents folder. |

Uses of a
Template

Replace the Default
Template |

On the File tab, choose
and then
choose Standard
Template. |

For File Name, enter or
select Default.mtp |
| |

Click Save |

Now, the next time the New File
(Blank)
icon is selected, the new template will appear. |
